Returns, exchanges and right of withdrawal

In short

You have 14 days from delivery to return or exchange your order, no reason needed. Items must be unworn, with labels and packaging intact (trying on at home is fine). Refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the goods. Return shipping is deducted from your refund: EUR 9.90 within the EU, EUR 65 from the United States. We send you the return label, so there is no return slip in the box. To start a return, open your order in your customer account (sign in with the e-mail address you ordered with) and select Request return. Customers outside the EU and the United States: please e-mail info@apa-intemporal.com with your order number, and we will quote the return shipping before you send anything. Exchanges: request a return and place a new order, or e-mail us and we will arrange it.

Instructions on withdrawal (§ 312g BGB)

Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (ĀPA Intemporal UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Bernauer Straße 31, 10115 Berlin, Germany, e-mail info@apa-intemporal.com, tel. +49 176 4583 9976) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an e-mail). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Exchanges

Within the same 14 days you can exchange for another size or colour instead of a refund. Write to info@apa-intemporal.com with your order number and what you would like. Exchanges are subject to stock; the new item ships once the returned item has arrived and been checked. We may refuse an exchange or refund, or charge a reconditioning fee, for items returned worn, damaged or without the original hang-tag.

Warranty and guarantee

Your statutory warranty rights (§§ 434 ff. BGB) apply. In addition, every ĀPA coat is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of purchase: if a seam, zip, membrane or fabric fails because of how the coat was made rather than how it was used, we repair it free of charge, or replace the coat if it cannot be repaired. Normal wear, accidents, misuse and damage from not following the care instructions are not covered; we are happy to repair those for a nominal fee. The guarantee is given by ĀPA Intemporal UG (haftungsbeschränkt), applies worldwide and does not limit your statutory rights. For coats backed on Kickstarter or Indiegogo, the guarantee terms of the original pledge apply.

These returns terms apply to purchases made and paid through this online store. Kickstarter and Indiegogo pledges are governed by those platforms' terms; backers may exchange (subject to stock, shipping costs both ways borne by the backer) but are not eligible for withdrawal or refunds through this store.
